In this 30 minute webinar, Ben and Jo discuss how this platform and the algorithm can help to build your brand, bringing creativity and authenticity to your marketing communications, reaching your audience of the future and creatively engage and connect with users through feelings, actions and sounds.

Ben Rodgers, founder of Edison Studio offers an holistic, creative and marketing service with an expert focus in retail, commerce, branding and social and digital media marketing.  Edison's clients include Hawes & Curtis, Raynaers at Home, Postmymeds, Ann Summers and TM Lewin.  Ben explains how his frustration working for a marketing agency led him to want to set up his own business.

Through a series of questions, many posed by the participants, Ben explains how this relatively new platform offers enormous potential to early adopters who can use it to engage with a large audience organically.  He discusses the massive opportunity that Tik Tok represents for organic reach.  Whereas more established platforms now offer organic reach of below 40-60%, with one post, you have the potential to reach 40,000 potential customers.

His top recommendations to get started:

  • Digest content on Tik Tok, become familiar with the algorithm through experimentation and do your research
  • Decide on your content strategy and your core values
  • Start posting and have fun!
  • Develop your Content Plan
  • Post at least once or twice a day
  • Try to develop a 'hook' to keep your audience watching
Testimonial from one of the attendees:

'Ben was good at reducing my fear about posting something that might be rubbish and Jo was excellent as she also asked questions from Ben that I was going to ask, clearly showing her knowledge and empathy for businesses.'  David Pynn, 64G Ltd.
